IT Manager

Systems Administrator

They are generally maintaining systems everyday and have a pulse on how each piece of tech in the organization works.

Help Desk Technician

A help desk technician works with internal and/or external customers to provide high-quality technical support. He or she listens to concerns, analyzes the problem, comes up with a solution, and finally implements it. He or she also logs all customer requests for future reference and tracks trends for future improvements. Common duties may involve resolving simple computer and printer issues to fixing an internet connect. They generally log all of their time in a time management system with tickets.

Network administrator

Database administrator

A database administrator helps to ensure that the information contained within a company’s databases is up to date and accessible. He or she works with data storage as well as business applications, security concerns, and troubleshooting technical problems. In addition, a database administrator may be responsible for describing any new structures that need to be created to the IT department.

SharePoint administrator

A SharePoint administrator helps to create and manage the structure of a company’s internal website as well as organize files, collaborate on projects, and make changes where necessary.
