IT Manager

Systems Administrator

Help Desk Technician

A help desk technician works with internal and/or external customers to provide high-quality technical support. He or she listens to concerns, analyzes the problem, comes up with a solution, and finally implements it. He or she also logs all customer requests for future reference and tracks trends for future improvements. Common duties may involve resolving simple computer and printer issues to fixing an internet connect. They generally log all of their time in a time management system with tickets.

Network administrator

Database administrator

A database administrator helps to ensure that the information contained within a company’s databases is up to date and accessible. SharePoint administrator
